Project - Windy Height

As a family evolves and grows, so does the home. The family living in this condo house at Windy Height wanted a house they can call home for many years to come. I came up with a look that eschews trends but plays up on warm materials and expansive spaces. As such, the important factors for a family home were met: a cosy design, large spaces for communal gatherings, and private spaces for quiet introspection.

The shared living and dining rooms have been designed to be a space where the entire family can gather. Food is central in this home, and you can see this in how a large space is allocated to the dining area and dry kitchen.

The star of this house however, is probably the cosy den perched on the top floor of the house. The owner’s personal style is put on the forefront with mementos proudly displayed on the open dry kitchen area This light-filled space becomes a cozy corner for rest and relaxation, complete with a wine cabinet and lounge chair.
